Many young people aged 16+ lack access to safe and supported semi independent accommodation, hindering their ability to develop independence and overcome challenges. Today4U was launched by a qualified social worker with over 20 years experience in order to change this. Our aim is to provide an understanding and supportive environment that empowers young individuals to acquire essential skills and confidence for a fulfilling and independent life, fostering positive contributions to their communities.

Today4U provides local authorities an immediate solution when seeking suitable, safe placements for young people who present with challenging personal circumstances. Our highly skilled staff are trained to meet the developmental needs of each young person. We prioritise comprehensive support planning, bespoke key working and mentoring programs to help young people achieve their goals and aspirations.

Staffing

At Today4U, our Director of Operations/Registered Manager is a registered social worker with the following qualifications; MA in Social Work, BA Hons in Criminology and Criminal Justice, Graduate Diploma in Law as well as  holding both Level 1 and 2 in Practice Education and Professional Standards. 

All our support staff are required to be trained to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and all Managers are required to be trained to NVQ Level 5 or equivalent.

All staff are subject to safer recruitment procedures, receive a full induction, mandatory and additional training and regular supervision.
